Hamlyn Irwin

Hamlyn works within Amba's Sales and Operations department, handling the day-to-day processing of orders, quotes, and invoices to help keep the company running smoothly. The role also involves travelling abroad to meet with clients and deliver parts in person, building strong relationships with the businesses Amba works with along the way.

Having grown up in Suffolk, Hamlyn headed south to study at the University of Portsmouth. It was there that a chance conversation with Mark about an open position led to an application, and the start of a working relationship that continues today.

Since joining, Hamlyn has found the role a real step up from previous jobs, with genuine day-to-day decision-making and real-life consequences. It's a challenge that comes with responsibility, but one that brings a real sense of purpose and excitement to the work — one that keeps things interesting every day.
