Privacy Statement
This page is maintained by Amba Dockside Technology Ltd to answer common privacy questions about this website. It describes the controls and practices we currently have in place, but it is not a legal certification or independent audit of our services or our hosting platform.
Who is responsible for this site?

What personal data we collect
We only collect personal data when you choose to give it to us:
- Enquiries: When you email or call us, we receive whatever information you provide (for example, your name, company, email address, phone number and the details of your enquiry).
- Admin accounts: Authorised staff sign in through a backend authentication service. We store the account email address and a hashed password; we do not have access to plain-text passwords.
- Cookies: We place a small cookie in your browser so the cookie notice remembers that you have dismissed it.
We do not currently run analytics or advertising scripts that track you across the web.
How we use your data
- To reply to your enquiries and provide quotes, support or technical information.
- To manage authorised access to the website administration area.
- To keep a record of our business correspondence for as long as it is needed.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated profiling or marketing without your permission.
Cookies
When you first visit the site you will see a short cookie notice. We set a single consent cookie so the notice does not keep reappearing. No other cookies are used at present. If we add analytics or functional cookies in the future, we will update this statement and the consent banner before enabling them.
Subprocessors and platform
This website is hosted by a third-party cloud provider and uses Supabase for backend authentication, database and storage. These services process data on our behalf. The description of these services is for transparency only and is not a certification or guarantee of their security practices.
The cloud hosting provider supplies the infrastructure. Supabase handles authentication and data storage for authorised users and uploaded content.
Retention and deletion
We keep business enquiry records indefinitely unless you ask us to remove them, because they form part of our ordinary commercial correspondence. Admin account data is kept while the account is active and removed when access is no longer required. You can request deletion or correction of your personal data at any time by contacting us.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete your personal data, where there is no overriding reason to keep it.
- Restrict or object to how we process it.
To make a request, email sales@ambadockside.co.uk.
Security and access
Administrative access to the backend is restricted to authorised staff. Passwords are stored as hashes by our authentication provider, and connections to the site are encrypted in transit. We choose tooling that supports these controls, but no online service can be completely risk-free. If you discover a security issue, please contact us so we can address it.
Changes to this statement
We may update this statement as the website or our practices change. The latest version will always be available at this page.
